Southern Africa Safari including Victoria Falls

This southern Africa adventure is a Safari starter pack which includes amazing game drives, stunning national parks, a river cruise, cultural dinners and a trip to one of the wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. Included in this package is a week in the family run Makutsi Safari Springs, South Africa followed by a 3 night stay in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. At Makutsi, nestled between the Drakensberg Mountains and Kruger National you’ll experience the raw African bush with game drives enjoyed by those who appreciate the peace and serenity of nature. Among the acacias and bushveld, elephants, rhinos, lions, cheetahs, leopards and more can be spotted on game drives through this protected area. At the start and end of each day, enjoy the warm hospitality of the family run lodge as breakfast and dinner are served in the main camp.

After a week at Makutsi you won’t want to leave but the next stage of the adventure brings you up close to the UNESCO world heritage listed Victoria Falls. A short flight up to Victoria falls brings you to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Set high on a plateau overlooking the Zambezi National Park, the award-winning Victoria Falls Safari Lodge prides itself on its hospitality, food and uninterrupted views over the bush. While staying at the lodge you’ll be taken on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River and experience a Boma dinner where your senses are bombarded with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa. You’ll also have time for some optional side trips which vary from helicopter flights over the falls, a walk across the border to Zambia to see the other side of the falls or a day trip to Botswana’s Chobe national park.
